• Improving water reservoir by water harvesting program.

• Extending Awareness programs on education about TB, cancer, cardiology problems, HIV/AIDS, RCH program etc

AMBULANCE

Community Seva Centre (CSC) from past 10 years started working with Kalvarayan hills people in nearly 33 villages. Introducing tribal people with new developments that the people lack like basic necessities, primary health care, non-formal education  safe drinking water facility. They are controlled by a near by town zamindars who give meager wage for their heavy agriculture and other slavery works.

The CSC development activities intervened to give them awareness about their legal rights and facilitated them with health camps and pre schools. But the main problem for their children's time to time sickness, mother mortality rate and infant mortality rates is the water born disease which causing serious health consequences in the area. They are drinking water from (tank) river which is polluted by animals and causes many diseases.

As well as people are suffering from dangerous insects bites, snake bites and emergency during such an emergency period they unable to reach hospital in the correct time and due to this lack of facility death average increases every year. If they want to travel to anywhere, they need to walk nearly 25 kilometers from their place and their road is in terrible condition, because road are made by big stone and mud which is available in their place and it has many dangerous bends and vertical drops. Because of these problems, private and Government sector are lagging from their responsibilities. During an emergency such as fire accident, communicable disease and some other accidents, they unable to take treatment at right time.

Our organization plan to move one-step forward, which is to provide ambulance service for the tribal people. If we provide this facility, we can save many precious lives. We can get small donations from the public for maintenance of vehicle but this vehicle should have the feature of four wheel driving as only this type of vehicle can travel at those types of roads.

 BUDGET FOR THE PROJECT:                

The Ambulance service project cost will be $17275.50 and the vehicle includes the following features:

• SCORPIO (TURBO 2.6) 2WD DELUXE

• 7/8/SEATING OPTION

• BASE + Power Windows, Central Locking

• Rear Wiper, Cladding, Middle Row with Armrest

• Remote fuel lid opening.

BENEFITS

1. To make an arrangement for better standard of living which shall be done only through suitable alternate job and providing technical know how for current work.

2. Both men and women should be encouraged to form a self help groups and cultivate the habit of saving and work together for a common cause.

3. Formal and non-formal education should arranged for the children and save them from child labor or bonded labor.

4. Children should have easy access for entertainment and extra curricular activities such as dance, music, sports etc.

5. Better medical and hospital facilities should be arranged for treatment and protect them from common diseases.

6. Construction of check dam is necessary for irrigation. The support from the government is highly helpful and fruitful.

7. Construction of individual and community toilets for better sanitation.

8. Arrangements for better road and transport facilities.

9. Creating awareness on health and nutrition.
